Image Color Picker
Your image stays in your browser.
How to use this tool
Find HEX, RGB and HSL color values by selecting a pixel in an image.
- Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image from your device.
- Click or tap a pixel; zoom or use arrow keys to refine the selection.
- Copy a color value into your design or stylesheet.
When it helps
Sample a logo or screenshot to reuse a displayed color. Colors are read from the browser’s decoded sRGB pixels; compression, color profiles and transparency can affect the values. Your image stays on your device.
Quick answers
How do I pick a color from an image?
Choose an image, then click or tap the preview. Use zoom and arrow keys for a precise pixel selection. Copy HEX, RGB or HSL; transparent pixels include an alpha value.
Is my image uploaded or saved?
No. The image and sampled colors stay in this page’s memory. Clear or leave the page to release them. Copied colors may remain in your clipboard.
Which files can I use?
One static JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10 MB and 25 megapixels. File contents and dimensions are checked before decoding. SVG, GIF and animated images are not supported.
Will this match the original design color?
We sample the browser’s decoded sRGB pixels. JPEG compression and color-profile conversion can change values; partially transparent pixels can look different on different backgrounds. Use the original design color code when exact brand matching matters.
