Which image formats are supported?
Choose a JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 10 MB and 25 megapixels. We detect the format from the file contents, even if the extension is wrong. Outputs are capped at 16 megapixels and 6,000 pixels on the longest edge. SVG, GIF, HEIC and animated PNG/WebP are not supported here; use HEIC to JPG for iPhone photos.
Are my images uploaded?
No. Processing and downloads happen on your device. We do not receive your photo, filename or result.
What happens to transparency and metadata?
PNG and WebP preserve transparency; JPG uses a white background. Images are re-encoded without copying source EXIF/GPS metadata. Orientation is applied by the browser; color appearance can vary.
How do width, height and quality work?
Width and height define a bounding box in pixels. We keep proportions and never enlarge your image. Smaller dimensions and lower JPG/WebP quality often reduce size; PNG quality cannot be adjusted. Outputs are limited to 16 megapixels and 20 MB. We do not promise an exact target file size.
